Sounds like a lot of fun! How far away is Macon? So, what was the project that you guys made?
Fun day - but cold I'm guessing?! Was it Nathan's first time at an air show?
Macon is about 30 minutes north of us. We actually haven't made it yet, but the project is a firetruck bank. He actually wanted to make a bird house, but they ran out.
When we first got there it was quite cold because the wind was blowing pretty strong and it was cloudy. Once the sun came out, though, it was only chilly when the wind really got going. By the afternoon when we were at the airshow, it was warm enough to go without a coat.
This was Nathan's second airshow. The first was quite different, though, since it had fast, loud fighter planes. (The first was at the Airforce Base here in town.)
Nathan is a lucky boy. We used to go to the festival with my grandparents if we were in town; I don't remember it ever being warm.
